The 2040 General Plan and the CAAP Final Drafts are Here!

2040 General Plan

The 2040 General Plan is out for final public comment until August 2023, with adoption of the 2040GP anticipated for last 2023/early 2024.  

The City is holding orientation webinars for the 2040 General Plan, and there's a workshop website for submitting your public comment at:  https://sacramento.konveio.com/general-plan-2040-workshop

Climate Action and Adaptation Plan

The Climate Action and Adaptation Plan is also currently entering it's final public comment period with adoption anticipated for late 2023/early 2024.  The Climate Action and Sustainability office was also recently re-organized so that it is now a department within City Public Works.
